They’d gotten the villains, the real ones, all wrong.

After the crash of the exploration ship The Orbeus, the four survivors have gone their separate ways.

The engineer has disappeared.

The pilot is now a general.

The deck captain, Ray, sits in a tiny apartment alone.

And the assassin, Felix, wants to help Ray any way he can.

Told between flashes of time and Felix and Ray's POV, these friends and sometimes lovers have to deal with the crash's fallout and their own grief and trauma while taking on new jobs in the blackness of space.
